I was always taught that when you come to a fork in the road, you pick it up. It's supposed to help you, although I'm not entirely sure how. You could have picked it up and stabbed Nadine in the eye with it I guess. Then at least you'd know what you weren't ever supposed to do again. Is that at all helpful? No? Hmmmm, well then, what Dizz said about her probably having had a rough home life and not remembering anything about it at all now.

You know, I lived with a Nadine for a year in B.C. She wasn't so much a bully, but she sure was bossy! Thankfully she never got violent in any way when she didn't get what she wanted. She just managed to make sure she got whatever it had been another way! I wonder if it has anything to do with the name?

She probably had a rough home life and this was then only way she felt she had any control. I am sure if you met her again, she will have absolutely no recollection of the event nor would she remember why she felt the way she did towards you.

I understand the name association thing though there are many people I run from who have a name that brings back bad memories.
