Quirky is laying on her bed with her Diet Dr. Pepper within arm's length. The boob tube is on and this is what she sees and hears on the television:
*dun, dun*
Vampire Perp stops at the doorway of the interrogation room, Stabler is standing right behind him. (Yes, he was a Vampire Perp. Too long of an explanation, either watch the rerun or just trust me.)
VP: Wait. I cannot enter a room, unless invited.
Stabler shoves him in. "Here's your invitation."
Stabler gets into the VP's face (lucky VP!) and starts spewing vitriolic facts to encourage the VP to "talk."
VP: "But she wanted me to suck her neck for blood. It's what we do."
Stabler: "Yeah? Well you'll be sucking something different down at Sing-Sing."
Barum bump!
A little later with a different possible perp.
Possible Perp: "I try to be a good husband."
Stabler: "I know, but you have needs. And your wife wasn't meeting those needs. I get it. You see a sweet, young thing like Amanda who was more than willing to meet those needs."
PP (excited and drooling): "And you wouldn't believe what she was into. Costumes, role-playing, threesomes, foursomes, TOYS! She was into anything!"
Stabler (nodding empathetically): "And was she INTO being killed in an alley?"
Barum bump!
I tell ya.
Elliot Stabler.
He kills me!
Everytime.
B.S. No vampire perps or regular perps were harmed during the production of this post. Well not physically harmed, but emotionally? The jury is still out on that one. *dun dun*

I also like his dry sense of humor. The timing of the dialogues is perfect...helps show his disgust and anger at the same time.

You know, since I started to work I haven't been able to stay awake long enough to watch a law and order or csi. They're only on at 10 pm, but my bed starts calling me and I'm out like a light by 9:30! I miss my shows!!!
Some of the writing on that show is very comedic. The original show with Chris Noth was also good for wisecracks.
So, wasn't he into sucking something different in 'Oz'?

With 3 shows and after umpteen years of episodes aren't you a little tired of "dun, dun"? Did you know the original has been running for 20 years...tied with Gunsmoke as longest running prime time drama? I was a teenager when it started! hahaha...believe me? Ok, ok, maybe not quite a teenager. :O
Yeah the jury is still out, and it'll probably be hung. Well hung, as in how the Quirskter seems to admire this Elliot dude. (wink)

@Gregory Yes Belzer aka Munch has a lot of good lines as well. I clicked the link. It made me feel happy for the actor that his character has been so long-lived. Let's face it Belzer doesn't have the face of a movie star, so it's good to know that he's had a steady paycheck with this one character. Hey, I'd take it in a heartbeat if I were an actor, which I'm not, although it's been determined that I'm a mighty fine liar. Isn't that like acting? HA!

Here's what I think: I think you like anything Elliot Stabler says because you think Elliot's hotter than a $20 whore on Saturday night at the bar. See, I'm funny, too. But I don't look like Elliot, so I'll bet $20 you're not laughing. Life is so unfair.
